SLAS poster 2025 - ChromaLIVE differentiates drug mechanisms in 3D culture with Yokogawa's high-content imager

This poster, a collaboration with Yokogawa and SUN Bioscience, showcases an innovative workflow for kinetic morphological profiling of live 3D spheroid models. Learn how ChromaLIVE™ Live Cell Painting assay provides non-toxic staining of live cells in complex 3D models. This workflow uniquely combines ChromaLIVE™ with Gri3D hydrogel microwell plates (from SUN Bioscience, for the reproducible generation of spheroids) and the CellVoyager High-Content Analysis System CQ3000 (from Yokogawa, for rapid kinetic high-content imaging of live tumor spheroids).

The study highlights ChromaLIVE™'s ability to differentiate drug mechanisms in high-content screening by revealing kinetic phenotypes and drug-specific phenotypes. When combined with these platforms, ChromaLIVE™ offers a reliable solution for real-time visualization of complex cell dynamics in 3D. This complete approach to 3D phenotypic profiling is optimized for high-content screening , making it a powerful tool for visualizing and exploring disease-relevant 3D cell cultures and understanding cell death mechanisms.
