Developed as a multi-chromatic, non-toxic dye designed for live-cell imaging, ChromaLIVE addresses the limitations of typical fixed endpoint assays in high-content screening that often miss crucial kinetic information, providing high-density biological information without disrupting cellular physiology.

We utilized ChromaLIVE to collect 7 kinetic measurements of MCF-7 cells, analyzing features such as intensity, texture, and shape. This approach precisely discriminates fast- from slow-acting compounds, identifies transient phenotypes and distinguishes compounds with similar mechanisms of action.
